As the evening came to a close (the couple stayed until the very end of the reception), guests were sent home with jars of organic strawberry jam and took one last dance to “Buona Sera” by Louis Prima to see the couple off on their honeymoon in Italy.

“To incorporate the colors of the day into the favors, and to share one of our favorite treats with our guests, we chose caramel-dipped, chocolate-covered apples as favors for our guests,” Melissa explains. Green Granny Smith apples were dipped in caramel and then drizzled with milk and white chocolate. The monogrammed tags on the apples also told guests where to sit, letting the favors do double duty as escort cards.

Since Amy and Kevin both have a sweet tooth, their guests received monogrammed, cellophane bags filled with daiquiri-flavored gourmet jellybeans at each place setting.

Honey in Jar

"Jess has a friend who harvests honey from bees that pollinate the Tupelo gum trees on the Apalachicola River," Sarah explains. The couple ordered jars, custom labels, and espresso brown ribbons, and then their friend filled the jars with honey.

Themed M&Ms served as the favors and were tied with gold, black, and pink ribbon with a card adorned with the couple’s names and wedding date.

The couple used a circle motif throughout their celebration, even including it on chocolate-iced cookies.

Each guest took home pink, red, and white M&M's packaged in a cellophane bag and tied off with a bright pink ribbon.
